Happy Halloween with Gordon's Ghost Story

The season finale, Gordon's Ghost Story, has been released on YouTube today. The episode sees Gordon being told a ghost story and then meeting the "ghost". This episode also sees the return of a much-loved character as well as an introduction to a  new character!

It may be the end of the season but there may be more special features videos coming soon...

I'd like to thank everyone that contributed to the series including the voice actors and writers and everyone who watched the series - without you the series couldn't have happened, so thanks! I'd like to especially thank Thomasfan for the amount of time he dedicated to the series by writing, meticulously editing each and every script and even expertly making a face for new engine, Doctor. Thanks a lot!

Signal Work released, Ghost Story filmed!

The penultimate episode of Season 7, Signal Work was released earlier today. Whilst its fair to say its not the best episode, we do get to see more of new arrival, Flora.

Next week's episode, Gordon's Ghost Story was filmed last week ahead of its release on Halloween, Monday 31st October. Filming went well and features some very wet scenes! We also meet an old friend and introduce a new one!

Good As Gold!

The eight episode, Good as Gold, has been released on YouTube. I personally think this is one of best episodes of the season, featuring some great crashes including one that took ages to get right!

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Thomasfan who made the face for a newly introduced character, Doctor. Thanks! Filiming for the season finale, Gordon's Ghost Story will be filmed this week.

A New Audiobook!

I've just released another narration of a 2011 television tie-in magazine story, Hiro Helps Out. It was first published around a fortnight ago in issue 624 of Thomas & Friends magazine.

Also, watch out for the next Season 7 episode of my TrackMaster series, "Good as Gold" coming Monday 17th.

Tram Trouble with a New Narrator

Thomas watches his friends lead the parade
Tram Trouble was released on YouTube yesterday and featured a surprise - a new narrator! Producer C.E. provided the narration for episode seven and will continue to lend his voice to the series for the remainder of the season. Whether or not he takes over for good will depend of the feedback I receive. So far his narration has received mainly positive reviews.

Ninth Episode Filmed!

The ninth episode has been filmed. Signal Work will be the eighth or ninth episode to be released. It is written by Thomasfan and its about Flora helping to make Salty his very own shed.

Other than that, there's no news at the moment. Tram Trouble will be released Monday.

Monday, 3 October 2011

Gail's coming!

Percy and Hank
The next season 7 episode has been released! This one, Gail Force, sees Percy hiding from a devious diesel named Gail, but in true Percy style, he realises he's made a mistake!

Also this week I'll be filming the episode "Signal Work" (which will be released on October 17th, 2011). The next episode will be released next week (October 10th) and it will be an adaptation of the season 12 episode, Tram Trouble. There will be a bit of a surprise with that episode...

Series Halfway Through!

Rain effect by LunaPic

The seventh season of my TrackMaster series is now halfway through as the fifth episode has just been posted!

In Thomas and the Jet Plane, Thomas meets Jeremy the Jet (voiced by producer C.E.) for the first time and despite getting off on the wrong foot, they realize that they are both really useful when they have to work together to save the children's picnic!

There should be a story narration in the week at some point, but I'm not sure what one I will do.

Book 3 uploaded!

Buzz Book No. 3, Percy Runs Away has been uploaded to YouTube at last! I hope you like it and I also hope there won't be such a wait for book 4!

Also, there will be some changes to the release schedule of Season 7 of my TrackMaster Series. The next episode will be "Thomas and the Jet Plane" followed by "Gail Force". There is a reason behind these changes, but you'll have to wait to see what the reason is!

Fourth Episode uploaded!

The fourth episode in my current series has been uploaded. The episode is an edited version of the sixth season episode, Salty's Secret!

Also, I plan to release my next audio narration tomorrow or Wednesday. It will be Buzz Book number three, Percy Runs Away! So, look out for that.

Diesel's in a jam in the latest episode!

The third episode in the seventh season of my series, Diesel in a Jam, was released on Monday. If you haven't seen it already - be sure to check it out! It's one of my personal favourites and its based on a magazine story. Look out for the next episode, Salty's Secret, coming Monday September 19th, 2011!

Also, the next audio book is being planned. I intend to release the next in my series of Buzz Book read-throughs sometime next week, but it may be earlier.

Voice Actors Found!

Voice actors have now been found for all of Richie's characters and they are as follows:

THETOPHATTS as Percy, James and Bulstrode
CALLEYFAN as Cranky
ADAMANDTHOMAS1997 as Thomas' Driver

Although unconfirmed, it is thought that producer C.E. will voice Gordon.

August Update!

Here's the news from me:

Richie has stepped down from Season 7 for personal reasons. He played several large roles including Percy, James and Cranky. He stepped down just days before the season is due to be shown on YouTube. An appeal in the form of an audition video has been launched on YouTube. Some roles have already been filled.

We wish Richie the best of luck for his upcoming projects including "The Fergus Chronicles" in which I voice Fergus. Richie intends to return to the series to voice his regular roles next year.

Also, an audiobook of "Day of the Diesels" has been released on YouTube. It's my biggest audiobook yet, but be warned before you watch it - it does contain spoilers from the special!

Finally, a promo for the seventh season of my series has been released on YouTube ahead of its release on Monday August 29th, 2011.

Another Audiobook released!

A new story featured in a recent Thomas & Friends magazine makes it to my YouTube channel. This one is based on the fourteenth season episode, Jumping Jobi Wood!

Tomorrow I will be working on a video showcasing Thomas & Friends items I bought a car boot sale today (Sunday 7th, August). There are some quite rare items amongst it, so watch out for that. It should be uploaded tomorrow.

TheTopHatts takes Harold

TheTopHatts who was originally cast as Harold's Pilot, the Wellsworth Stationmaster and a Troublesome Truck has agreed to take over the role of Harold from SteamTeamRedubUK who stepped down from the role yesterday.

In doing so, he agreed to let me recast the role of Harold's Pilot who my producer, C.E., will now be voicing.

In other news, an audiobook will be released later this week. It will be of the magazine story "Jumping Jobi Wood" which is based on the fourteenth season episode.

A Special Treat on YouTube!

The rhyming magazine story, A Special Treat!, is now on YouTube. It's very short and runs for just over one and a half minute, but I do like this one!

In other news, BramGroatFilms has joined my series voicing Diesel's Driver and Gordon's Fireman.

Eighth episode done!

The eighth episode, Percy's Postal Problem, has been filmed. Although its the eighth to be filmed, it will probably be the first episode to be released!

Filming will resume shortly with "Signal Work". The last episode, "Gordon's Ghost Story", will be filmed next month.

Here's a photo:

Percy's Postal Problem partly filmed!

The first half of the episode Percy's Postal Problem has been filmed. This was one of the most challenging episode to film because of all the set changes involved. The chase scene was quite hard too!

This episode, written by Richie, is likely to be the first episode to be released on August 29th, 2011. Filming of the second half of the episode should take place tomorrow.

Also, on my YouTube channel right now is my latest charity shop finds. Please go and check it out, read the video's description and comment! The items include a My First Oliver, some Story Library titles and a Story Treasury as well as a mysterious tiny Thomas model. Click the link at the bottom of this blog post to go to the video.

A Very Small Update

This is just a short message to say that YouTuber TheSodorSteamworks will join the voice cast voicing a Truck and a Rescue Worker.

This means that the parts of the Trucks and the Rescue Worker are no longer available.

Thursday, 21 July 2011

Filming Cancelled for this week

This week, today, I was due to begin filming Percy's Postal Problem however, I have lost the platform. I'll either have to wait until tomorrow and see if my dad can make a platform for the station or, buy another one.

Depending on whether I can come to some conclusion, filming could resume on Saturday filming a different episode.

Also, please check out my auditions video as some minor characters still have voices, but some have already been filled. Here's the new castings:

THETOPHATTS as the Wellsworth Stationmaster, Harold's Pilot and Truck

The New Station Audiobook now released on YouTube

My latest audiobook, "The New Station" has just been uploaded onto YouTube.

Whilst it's not the best of stories, I'm very happy with the way it came out and I mixed the illustrations with footage from the CGI television series.

New Audiobooks on the horizon

Now that the filming for my seventh season is winding down and becoming less demanding, I will do a few audiobooks. I would very much like to continue my Buzz Book series but I can't find book three, Percy Runs Away. So, instead, I'll be narrating a magazine story published in the year I was born, 1994.

The magazine story is titled, "The New Station" and it sees James become jealous because he isn't selected to collect the very important visitors to open a new station on Thomas' Branch Line.

Also, I got Thomas and His Friends yesterday and I MAY review it but I'm not sure. Whether I do or don't I would highly recommend that you buy it! In the UK it's only £3.99 on Amazon so there's no excuse! It's much cheaper than the average Thomas book and is so much better! I hope there's more Railway Series books ahead!

Salty's Secret Finished!

Salty's Secret has been finished. All the scenes for the episode have now been filmed. Filming went well and I'm very happy with the result!

Filming will resume soon with "Percy's Postal Problem" which was written by Richie.

Here's a picture:

"Here we go, here we go, here we go!"
"No, we don't. No, we don't. No, we don't, don't, don't!"

Salty's Secret underway!

Today I began filming "Salty's Secret". I managed to film all of the Brendam Docks scenes and I know what you're thinking: the Docks is only seen in Salty's Secret briefly. Well, this remake is bit different as it's all about Salty telling the story of how he first arrived on the Island.

Also, I will be checking with all cast members if they still want to voice in the series before I hand out scripts, so if you voice in the series, expect to be contacted. So far I've only asked Richie and Dan5589 and they will continue voicing their characters.

Here's a pic from Salty's Secret...
A Troublesome Truck rolls across the Quayside
Filming will resume tomorrow (probably) with the Quarry scenes of the episode.

Six down, four to go!

The six episode, Good as Gold, has been totally filmed. I am very happy with this one and it could be a highlight of the season! One of the crashes featured is my best yet and it was filmed from three different angles. Very action-packed, this one!

Filming will resume Monday with my adaptation of Salty's Secret!

In the meantime, here's a behind-the-scenes photo of the crash!

Tuesday, 5 July 2011

Sixth episode finally (half-way) filmed!

Today, I finally started filming the sixth episode "Good as Gold". I sucessfully filmed over half of the episode and only have the scenes that take place at the Quarry left. It was great fun, but one scene in particular was a great challenge to film, but I think I pulled it off okay.

Filming will resume either tomorrow or Thursday.

Also, we've had a discussion about the release date and have decided that the season is likely to be released on the 15th or 29th of August and we release a new episode every Monday until the season ends. We even have a Halloween episode being written by Thomasfan right now which will be released on Halloween!

Tunnel modified for Gold Mine

In my days I've had off from filming, I've still been very busy you'll be pleased to hear.

I've been busy making the closed off Gold Mine for the next episode to be filmed, "Good as Gold".

Although it looks basic it took us nearly four hours to get it just right and to paint it and I'm now very pleased with it.

Here's a pic

Also, today I bought a big TOMY starter set that featured Thomas, Annie, Clarabel, Bertie and Harold for £10 at a local charity shop.

Pause for illness

Having come down with a bad cold, I am having to take a short break from filming but hope to start again on Thursday. It's a good thing really as I've just realised that I don't have some of the props necessary for the next episode.

Season 7 Halfway Finished!

Yesterday (Thursday) I filmed the fifth episode Gail Force which sees a storm cause confusing and delay for Percy. This episode also sees a second role for Hank in the season, who takes the place of BoCo who is absent from the series.

This episode was great fun to film as all the strong winds looked great on camera and was caused by a hair-dryer!

Filming should resume Monday with "As Good as Gold". In the meantime, here's a picture:

Tram Trouble - FILMED!

Yes, the fourth episode, Tram Trouble, has been completely filmed. Today, I filmed the scenes set at the Docks and Arlesdale End and I'm pleased with the way this episode turned out.

Just like Heave Ho Thomas!, its been heavily adapted by Thomasfan and feels more like a "Classic Series" episode rather than a "CGI Series" one.

A date for the season to appear on YouTube is still yet to be decided.

Here's a picture:

Thomas takes coal to Toby at Arlesdale End
Filming will resume Thursday. The episode has yet to be decided on.

Monday, 13 June 2011

Fourth Episode has started...

Filming for Tram Trouble has started. Today I filmed over half the episode including scenes filmed at Wellsworth, The Lumber Yard, The Shunting Yard and the Junction. Tomorrow I will be filming the parts that take place at Arlesdale End and the Docks and then I think I'm done with this episode.

Here's a picture!

Third Episode Filmed!

Heave Ho Thomas! has finally been filmed and now I'm sure this season is going to be my best yet! This episode took six and a half hours to film because it required quite a few different sets including the quarry, the docks and Knapford. This episode is based very closely on the real twelfth season episode but it has quite a few edits which makes it feel less like a television series episode and more like a Railway Series story, thanks to my script editor Thomasfan who did a terrific job with editing this episode.

As you know in this episode we are introduced to Hank, voiced by MurphyProductions828. I'm pleased to tell you that Hank will appear in at least one other episode in this season and won't be forgotten about like he was in the real TV series.

Here's a picture,

Thomas meets Hank for the first time
Tomorrow, I will probably be filming Tram Trouble which will introduce yet another new arrival...

Second episode filmed!

I have filmed the second episode for the seventh season. Diesel in a Jam is based on a magazine story entitled "BoCo in a Jam". Since BoCo is still currently on the Mainland, Oliver took his place in the episode.

This episode was actually quite easy to film since it was all on one set and a majority of the time was spent actually setting up the set.

I am hoping to film the next episode tomorrow but it depends whether my brown sheet can be washed and dried in time since it got a bit "sticky" in today's episode!

Here's a picture:

Toby and the Stout Gentleman on YouTube now!

My latest audiobook in the Buzz Book series, Toby and the Stout Gentleman, is now on YouTube. Due to other comittments I was not able to upload on Friday or Saturday.

The next instalment, which I believe is Percy Runs Away, won't be made for a while as I am going to concentrate on my upcoming TrackMaster series.

Subtitles for the hard-of-hearing are likely to be added soon.

Second Instalment coming soon....

Image from TTTE Wikia.
The second book in my Buzz Book Audio series will be released either tomorrow or Saturday.

The second book is entitled, "Toby and the Stout Gentleman".

It may be the last audiobook for a while as I am concentrating on my new TrackMaster series!

TheRyanCarMan joins the series

TheRyanCarMan is to join my TrackMaster series to voice "Tom Tipper" the Postman in the upcoming episode Percy's Postal Problem which is written by Richie.

Harold's Pilot and a workman still need a voice in the episode. If your interested contact me via the newly-named The Official Thomas the Tank Engine Wiki Forums (formerly The NEW Tugboats and Thomas Forums), the Wikia or My YouTube Channel. To start with, I ask that no-one who voices more than three recurring characters can not voice the characters. This is just to make sure that the characters don't begin to sound too similar. If no voice actors are found, the roles will go to regular cast members.

Filming Complete for first episode

The filming for the episode "Thomas and the Jet Plane" has been completed.

Today, I filmed the concluding parts of "Thomas and the Jet Plane". Filming will resume on Thursday with the second episode "Diesel in a Jam" which is based on a magazine story.

Here's a picture from behind the scenes of Thomas and Percy's scene:

Filming Gets Underway for Season 7

The first seventh season episode has been partly filmed. The first episode to be filmed is "Thomas and the Jet Plane" which sees Thomas meet Jeremy the Jet for the first time. Although it is the first to be filmed, it may not be the first to be released. All of the Airport scenes have been filmed along with the first scene which is set at the sheds.

Here's a picture of Thomas meeting Jeremy.

Good and Bad News Ahead...

The upcoming feature length special, Kidnapped is now on a permanent hiatus. However, it is now likely that the seventh season of  the show will air this year and is likely to feature more episodes than the usual six. It will contain television series adapted episodes, magazine story adapted episodes and episodes written completely from scratch.

So, some bad and good news there. More updates coming soon.

Season 15 review launched!

My thoughts on the fifteenth season have just been released on YouTube.

It contains a summary of the episodes and then my thoughts. Finally, I give the episodes a rating out of ten.

I would very much like to hear your thoughts on the episodes, so be sure to leave a comment!

The review also contains subtitles for the hard-of-hearing.

See you all soon!

Season 15 review - Coming Soon!

My review of Season 15 will be coming soon. I don't feel that it is very good and I struggle to call it a "review" it's more of a look-back of the season. Anyway, I put a lot of effort into it and I'm hoping to release it very soon. I am mapping out my next project and I'll give you more details on that shortly!

Also, I would recommend checking out my latest "rare pics" video. It contains never-before-seen pictures from the classic, the new, and the CGI series of Thomas & Friends and includes lots of posters and some promos including one of Scruff!

Kidnapped delayed - again!

Unfortunately, because I have hurt my back Kidnapped has had to be pushed back yet again. In the meantime I will be very busy with other projects that were scheduled to start after Kidnapped. The good news is, that my back is getting better slowly so I should be back filming Kidnapped in May/June-ish time.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Buzz Books and Internet Issues

I would first like to tell you all that I am going to do a series of audiobooks revolved around the Buzz Books series. I have completed part 1, Thomas in Trouble, and it is awaiting upload which brings me to my next topic -

My internet on my laptop isn't working so I won't be around much over the weekend. I had planned to release my audiobook today but it'll have to wait. I hope to be back online properly on Monday, so it shouldn't make any difference to my work with Season 15.

Roof Repairs! released!

My latest audiobook "Roof Repairs!" is now on YouTube.

In other news, the old problems with my disc drive have started again. So, I'm trying to figure that out right now so there may not be any uploads for a while.

Friday, 4 March 2011

New Audiobook to be released soon.

Another story from a 1993 Thomas magazine will be released on YouTube over the weekend. It has been recorded and edited and is awaiting upload. The story will be "Roof Repairs!" in which a storm rips a hole in the engine shed's roof.

For more information regarding Roof Repairs! - Click Here!

Also, Kidnapped will not be resumed until next week (hopefull). I currently have a bad back that would prevent me from filming but I hope to be back filming it soon!

A Break from Kidnapped to make way for Season 15

I will be taking a short break from filming Kidnapped because of getting up early to record Season 15. I just don't feel like filming right now because I'm so tired (getting up a 7am each day). I should be returning to filming in a couple of days.

Also, I'd like to thank Richie for helping with the face masking in Kidnapped!

New Audiobook released

I have just released a new audiobook on YouTube. It features the magazine story "All Steamed Up!" from 1993. I will be doing more of these older magazine stories in the near future.

Scene 2 of Kidnapped was also filmed on Friday. The scene was very simple and all went well. Filming should resume on Monday night.
